Terms and Conditions
By booking Flores à Beira-Rio services, the client declares to have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1. Nature of the Service
Flores à Beira-Rio is dedicated to the artisanal preservation of natural flowers through pressing and drying techniques, transforming flowers with emotional or symbolic value into personalised framed pieces. All pieces are unique and handmade. The nature of this process implies variability in the final result, which the client accepts at the time of booking.
2. Natural Changes in Flowers
When pressed or dried, flowers may change significantly in colour, shape or texture. Certain tones (reds, purples, strong pinks and whites) tend to darken, yellow or fade. These changes are natural and are not considered defects or grounds for a refund.
3. Shipping and Condition of Flowers
Flowers are preserved in the condition in which they arrive at our studio. The client must send them within the recommended timeframe (1 to 3 days after the event). We are not responsible for damage caused during transport or postal delays.
4. Instructions and Preferences
Specific requests regarding the design must be sent in physical form inside the package or by email before the flowers are received. The inclusion of all elements is not guaranteed and depends on technical feasibility.
5. Frames and Final Composition
Frames are handmade using museum-quality materials. The client will have 72 hours to approve the final design via photographs. Once sealed, the frame cannot be altered.
6. Payments
The service is paid in three instalments: 1st: 30% at the time of booking (non-refundable). 2nd: 40% upon receipt of the flowers. 3rd: 30% before shipping or collection.
7. Delivery of the Finished Piece
The piece can be sent by tracked post or collected in Coimbra. Shipping only takes place after full payment.
8. Damage and Claims
If the frame arrives damaged, the client must contact us within 7 days and keep the original packaging for assessment.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
The 30% deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the client. If the event is rescheduled, the deposit may be transferred subject to availability.
10. Care of the Piece
Avoid direct sunlight, humidity (bathrooms/kitchens) and extreme heat sources to ensure the durability of the frame.

12. Copyright
All website content is the exclusive property of Flores à Beira-Rio. We reserve the right to use images of our work for portfolio and marketing purposes.
13. Final Provisions
Flores à Beira-Rio reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
